The Free Little Libraries Project aims to create a literacy rich community. With an initial book donation of $7,500 from Kellie and Tim Coff, now almost $30,000 worth of books have been distributed for free to children in Southern and Far West New South Wales, along the Victorian Mallee track, and within the greater Sunraysia area of Regional Victoria.

The Free Little Library Project was originally a joint social impact and public value creating venture between The Knowledge Centre, The Northern Mallee Leaders Program, Mildura Senior College VCAL students, Mildura Rural City Council, Mallee Family Care and the Let's Read Program. The project has continued to operate sustainably since 2017 with minimum interference required.

If you would like to donate books to the project, please deliver them to your closest Free Little Library (see below) or mail them at your own cost to: The Free Little Libraries Project C/- The Knowledge Centre PO Box 13044 Mildura VIC 3502.

If you are the caretake of a free little library and require more books, firstly, Thank you! Your efforts are helping us connect kids in our region with books they can love for a lifetime.
