Samuel McCracken is an Irish illustrator based in the mainland UK. Sam’s work blends traditional
methods, with digital advancements and covers a range of topics. Sam has a deeply personal
connection to this project and hopes his illustration can help bring comfort to other parents, and
siblings affected by stillbirth and early pregnancy loss.

Gabrielle Sharrard is a talented American artist and illustrator from Kentucky. Her chosen mediums are
graphite, ink, and acrylic. Her work is inspired by dreams, childhood memories, Victorian photography,
and her struggles with mental illness. Gabrielle also writes, animates, and composes music.

Lellie Lopter
Lellie Lopter is an Australian author, illustrator and project leader. She won the Marshall Allan Hill writing
competition with ‘My Brother, Born Sleeping’ in 2011. It has taken her more than a decade to be brave
enough to share this story.

Elzbieta Gorecka is a freelance illustrator based in Poland/UK who illustrates a variety of subjects.
She is currently focusing on book illustrations. Elzbieta mostly works in traditional mediums using
charcoal, crayons, and coloured pencils to create stunning illustrations.

Cristina Clementel is an artist and architect, living and working between London and Italy. She grew up
with a passion for drawing in a small town in the mountains and moved to Venice to pursue a degree in Architecture. Cristina’s graphic design and illustration work combines both her passions for architecture and art.
Cristina loves to draw with black ink to create strong lines and patterns, then she adds colours
with different mediums and techniques. Cristina is attracted to projects where she has the opportunity
to generate ideas and create imaginaries and dreams.

Beatriz (Bea Carri) Garcia Carricondo is a Spanish artist currently living in England. Bea is actively
pursuing her dream of working in the arts. Bea has studied illustration and graphic design in Majorca,
Balearic Islands. She describes her style as ‘messy but passionate.’ Bea is always trying to show the
brightest colours and shapes.

doing illustrations as a hobby and he now completes a daily sketch. Lee uses watercolours to bring his
cartoon style creations to life.
